Electronic Waste Problems
Although there are many benefits to e-waste, there can also be many problems if the materials are not handled properly. This could result in carcinogens and toxins being released to the environment. That is why it is so important for computer disposal to be handled in the right way. This will result in many secondary raw materials, which is very valuable and a great use of pc disposal. There is a huge amount of electronic waste these days as a result of the quick changes in technology and how fast technology becomes obsolete these days. Fortunately, there are ways to deal with electronic waste, but there is a lot of preparation involved. This means collection systems, logistics, and other organization must be implemented before an solution can work. Of all the trash in the landfills in America, e-waste only makes up about two percent of it. But, on the flip side, of all the toxic waste approximately 70 percent of it is e-waste. That just shows the problems that exist with e-waste and how toxic it is. Unfortunately, electronic waste is being sent to China, Kenya, India, and other countries with lower standards for processing and this occurs illegally most of the time.
